Dionisio Andújar Sánchez

Dionisio Andújar is Tenured Scientist at the Centre for Automation and Robotics (CAR-CSIC) working on exploiting the advantages of innovative processing image analysis methods for precision agriculture purposes, with the main objective to propose new strategies that will optimize the agricultural application of inputs and autonomous guidance of agricultural vehicles. He has been the Principal Investigator of several national, European (H2020, EIT) and international projects. He has done international stays at the University of Hohenheim (Germany, Stuttgart), University of California and NIBIO (Norway), which produced several papers published in prestigious journals and several patents. He has received several prices during his research career. To date, his scientific activity has led to more than 200 international publications.
