Manuel Cebrián Ramos

Dr. Manuel Cebrián Ramos is currently a tenured scientist at the Center for Automation and Robotics within the Spanish National Research Council and serves on the National Advisory Board for Artificial Intelligence for the Spanish Government. His areas of focus include Computational Social Science, Network Science, and Artificial Intelligence. He has held positions at the Max Planck Society, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), the University of California at San Diego, and Brown University. His research contributions have been published in respected journals such as Science, Nature, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, where he has explored computational approaches to societal challenges. This work has received recognition both within the academic community and in the public sphere, with mentions in The New York Times, The Economist, and The Guardian.
